If you raise funds in aid of the Foundation you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. They are nothing too onerous but are designed to protect the reputation of the Foundation; to protect you as a fundraiser or organiser; and, to protect members of the public who sponsor you or attend your event.
-
You agree to organise fundraising activities as an independent supporter of the Foundation. You should refer to raising money “in aid of” or “in support of” the Foundation, rather than on the Foundation’s behalf. We can provide you with a special version of our logo for this purpose.
-
You agree that you will comply with any instructions or guidance provided by the Foundation relating to your fundraising activity.
-
You will be responsible for any costs, taxes or expenses incurred or arising in connection with your fundraising activity.
-
You accept that any risks arising out of your fundraising activity are your responsibility, including liability for any injury or loss which may occur to you, your helpers or guests. You will take all reasonable precautions to protect the health and safety of all those participating in, involved with or attending your activity.

-
You agree to inform the Foundation prior to your activity how much of the money raised is intended to go to the Foundation. You should also make this clear to those you are asking for sponsorship from or otherwise raising fund from. For example, if you are raising money for the Foundation and another charity, splitting anything raised 50/50 you, should make this clear to the Foundation and those you are asking to support you. You agree to pay any funds raised on behalf of the Foundation as soon as possible as you receive the funds or within any agreed timescale.
-
Unless the Foundation has provided you with branded materials, you may only use the Foundation’s name and logo for your fundraising activities with our written permission, and in accordance with any guidelines. Please ask for this when you tell us about your event. We may ask for more information as to how you intend to use the Foundation’s logo and, if reasonably practicable, we may ask for mock ups of how you intend to use the logo. You should not use logos downloaded from Facebook, Twitter etc.
-
You agree to provide photographs or videos taken during your fundraising activity to the Foundation as requested, you agree that these may be used by the Foundation for fundraising and/or awareness purposes. By sending these to us, you are also confirming that anyone featuring prominently in the photograph or video is aged 16 or over, and that they have consented to their image being used in this way.

-
You agree that the Foundation can use the details that you have provided to discuss your fundraising activity and follow up on your progress.
